Yahoo Movies Ginny & Georgia star lands exciting lead movie role
Ginny & Georgia star Felix Mallard has landed his next lead movie role.
The actor is known for playing Marcus Baker in the hit Netflix series, which returns with season 3 next year.
According to Deadline, Mallard is set to star in new thriller Nest, a home invasion tale that sees a young family terrorised by a new species of deadly arachnid.

The former Locke & Key and Neighbours star plays Remy, a first-time parent who hopes to put foundations down in the new house he's moved into with daughter Zoe and wife Grace.
A high-flyer, Grace is often away with work, leaving Remy to raise the baby and transform their new house into a home. But he soon discovers that there's other occupants living in the house who aren't too thrilled about the new arrivals.
Remy will meet his match with a giant female spider, the matriarch of the nest, brought to life through puppetry, VFX and additional visual effects.

Nest has been written by Guy Edmonds with assistance from script consultant Daina Reid of The Handmaid’s Tale fame. He'll also direct the project in what will be his feature directorial debut.
"Nest is every parent’s worst nightmare," he said. "It's a home invasion film from within, which becomes a fight to defend their child as the house is infested by another family: of spiders!"
Mallard was most recently on screen in romantic drama Turtles All the Way Down, the movie adaptation of John Green's novel of the same name.
In September, he delighted fans with a Ginny & Georgia update on his Instagram account, confirming that season three had finished filming with some throwback clips and photos.
"Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia just wrapped filming," read the caption. "It’s bitter dipped in sweet. Pride wrapped in apprehension.
"Feeling immensely grateful to have spent such a long time working so hard with such beautiful people. Feeling even more excited for everyone to see what we’ve been up to since season 2."
Ginny & Georgia seasons 1-2 are now available to watch on Netflix.
