Carolina Commercial Kitchen

Location: 3500 Latrobe Dr., Charlotte, NC 28211

Neighborhood: Elizabeth

What you should know: Carolina Commercial Kitchen offers 24/7 kitchen amenities for food businesses with prep and storage needs. The facility is split into two sections: one for the Department of Agriculture, and the other for food trucks, producers and caterers. At over 15,000 square feet of cooking space, clients are able to rent out as much or as little as they’d like.

The City Kitch

What you should know: Home to delicious spots like Honeybear Bake Shop, Best of Both Souls, Meals by Mariah and more, The City Kitch West-End is one of two City Kitch locations in Charlotte. Customers can order from their favorite food vendors online and pick up on location in a socially-distant way.

The Southern Comfort Cafe

What you should know: The Southern Comfort Cafe, in partnership with Cantina 1511, specializes in creating made-from scratch southern comfort cuisine for off-premises consumption. Like a ghost kitchen, The Southern Comfort Cafe offers no brick-and-mortar space, so no dining rooms or servers. Instead, the next time you have a family event and need southern classics like Chicken Pot Pie, Granny’s Chicken and Dumplings, Pot Roast, or famous sides like Mac and Cheese, and Southern Mashed Potatoes, you can place an order online for pickup or delivery via DoorDash.
