Led by Luka Doncics 6th triple-double of the season and 52nd of his career (22 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists) the Mavericks defeated the Nuggets, 116-115. Tim Hardaway Jr. recorded 29 points (6-8 3PT FG) for the Mavericks, while Dorian Finney-Smith added 19 points (5-10 3PT FG) in the victory. Nikola Jokic tallied 19 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for the Nuggets, while Aaron Gordon added a team-high 27 points and eight rebounds in the losing effort. The Mavericks improve to 13-11 on the season, while the Nuggets fall to 14-10.

Speed limit rising on another section of 401 in Chatham-Kent
Another stretch of Highway 401 in southwestern Ontario will be getting a new speed limit. The provincial government announced Wednesday that the 110 km/h zone from Windsor to Tilbury is getting extended by seven kilometres.The area is one of 10 sections on 400-series highways that will see speed limits go up by 10 km/h. Iraq hangs 11 convicted of terrorism in latest mass executions, security officials say
Iraq had hanged 11 militants sentenced to death on terrorism charges, local security officials said on Thursday. The executions were carried out on Monday at a prison in the southern Iraqi city of Nassiriya and all those executed were Iraqi nationals, said a prison police officer and a local security official. They said the 11 men were convicted of joining the Islamic State militant group and taking part in "terrorist actions".
