Yes.

What has the legislature gotten right, and what has it gotten wrong, about public education in North Carolina?

Wrong: the school grading system; tax supported private school vouchers; removal of TAs from K-3 classrooms; elimination of increased K-12 teacher pay for Master’s education and national certification; attempts to interfere with classroom curriculum and instruction.

Should North Carolina change its abortion laws? How?

There should be fewer restrictions on abortion after 20 weeks.

Please add anything else voters should know about your position on the legality or availability of abortion in North Carolina.

Abortion is a safe medical procedure and should remain legal. Healthcare is personal and all healthcare decisions, including reproductive healthcare, should be made by the individual in consultation with their healthcare provider. Current barriers to safe, legal abortion (like the three-day waiting period) should be removed.

The legislature should not interfere with school curriculum.
