Fury vs Chisora LIVE! Boxing result, fight stream, latest updates and reaction after Usyk face-off

Fury vs Chisora LIVE!

Tyson Fury brushed aside Derek Chisora in another brutal masterclass to successfully retain his WBC world heavyweight title on Saturday night. In front of 60,000 fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ controlled a completely one-sided fight from start to finish to secure a third victory over his old friend and British rival.

It sent an emphatic message to Oleksandr Usyk, who was sitting ringside and afterwards faced off with his fellow champion ahead of a lucrative undisputed showdown between the pair that is hopefully set to take place in early 2023. If not, then Fury has instead pledged to fight Joe Joyce, who also muscled his way into the post-fight antics in north London. However, Fury’s admittance that he now needs elbow surgery will throw further uncertainty over the division.

Tonight’s undercard saw Daniel Dubois bounce back from an early disaster and potential knee ligament injury to retain his WBA ‘regular’ heavyweight title for the first time with an emphatic third-round stoppage of Kevin Lerena. There were also wins for Karol Itauma, Royston Barney-Smith, Hosea Burton and Isaac Lowe, with Denys Berinchyk outworking Yvan Mendy to win the European lightweight gold. Here’s more from Fury on that elbow issue...

“I’ve had it for a while. I’ve got like elbow spurs and some stuff that I’ve got to sort out on my right arm. When that’s done, we can get the fight on.”

Fury on elbow surgery

Saturday 3 December 2022 23:17 , George Flood

That intended late February/eary March date for Fury-Usyk in the Middle East now looks impossible.

“I’ve got to maybe have surgery on my right elbow,” Fury said.

“I had the left one done, so I’ve got to have it done. It will take about six-to-eight weeks to heal. We’ll see when we can be ready for this fight.”

Fury may need elbow surgery

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:47 , George Flood

I haven’t seen the interview yet, but apparently Fury has told ESPN in America that he has some hand issues and may also require surgery on his right elbow.

He thinks that will take six to eight weeks to heal, but he’s confident of facing Usyk after that.

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:35 , George Flood

“If the rabbit [Usyk] doesn’t want to fight, me and Joe will do Wembley. And that’s a promise.”

That’s from Fury as he gatecrashes a Joyce interview with BT Sport.

He likens Joyce to himself when he was trying to secure a fight with Wladimir Klitschko all those years ago.

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:28 , George Flood

Here’s that face-off between Fury and Usyk, who did well to keep cool amid that barrage of insults.

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:23 , George Flood

Now Usyk is up on the ring, just saying nothing and smiling as Fury rattles off the insults as they go face-to-face.

Now Joe Joyce is up in the mix!

It’s all going on with these comical post-fight histrionics.

Deary me.

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:22 , George Flood

Fury heaps praise on Chisora and leads the crowd in a chant in tribute to his old friend and rival.

Chisora then thanks the referee for stepping in when he did.

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:16 , George Flood

Lovely to see the embraces between two old mates after that one-sided beatdown.

Fury is gesturing towards his right hand, perhaps suggesting an injury.

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:15 , George Flood

The camera pans straight down to Usyk at ringside.

A penny for his thoughts!

He made much harder work of Chisora than that.

Fury stops Chisora in 10th round

Saturday 3 December 2022 22:13 , George Flood

Round 10

The referee is not taking his eyes off Chisora, whose face is a bloodied and battered mess as he continues to eat the massive punches.

It looks a couple of times like he might step in, then finally does with a few seconds left in the 10th.

Absolutely the right decision.

Brave as hell from Chisora, but he was totally dominated and outclassed from the word go. That decision should have been made a while ago.

A penny for Usyk’s thoughts at ringside...

Round 9

Referee Victor Loughlin goes to have a word with Chisora’s trainer Don Charles at the end of another round dominated by Fury.

The man will never, ever quit, but will need saving from himself here.

He’s hurt again at the end of the ninth and the corner have a decision to make.

The first big punch landed by Fury in the 10th will surely lead to the ref stepping in.

Round 8

Fury thunders in a succession of further heavy punches, but the resilient Chisora takes them and gets the crowd on their feet as he tries to come firing back to the body.

What a warrior he is.

More bruising punishment from Fury, who sticks his tongue out at Steve Bunce down at ringside.

The sheer variety and venom on these short Fury punches with both hands is incredible.

Usyk is also chirping at Fury from ringside!

Fury vs Chisora

Round 7

Chisora’s right eye is closing as he continues to absorb some massive punishment.

He let go of a few body shots that found the mark there, but it was just the briefest of breaks to the Fury dominance that quickly takes hold once more.

Did Chisora’s corner just say there wasn’t much in the fight?!

They need to seriously think about pulling him out.

Fury was teeing off on him at will again at the end of the seventh, with brutal short shots and uppercuts all finding their mark.

Round 6

You get the feeling that Fury could end this fight at any time he chooses.

Chisora can never be accused of lacking heart, but any time he dares to even slightly come forward he is instantly made to regret it.

Fury’s utter mastery of the angles, distance and tempo is truly something to behold.

Once again, he is completely outboxing Chisora.

Much of the damage is coming from the short shots, which pack so much more power than you’d think.

The uppercuts are brutal.

Round 5

Fury underlines his dominance by throwing Chisora back into his own corner at the start of the fifth.

More of that same approach from Fury, peppering Del Boy with spiteful shots and working off the jab beautifully, having so much success with the uppercuts.

It feels like everything he is throwing is finding the mark. He is so good to watch in this sort of mood.

Chisora is sent staggering back to the corner with 20 seconds left in the round, another right hand doing the damage.

Fury is toying with his old mate here. Chisora can do nothing about it.

Fury vs Chisora

Saturday 3 December 2022 21:49 , George Flood

Round 4

A little warning shot from Chisora at the start of the fourth as another of those looping rights breaches Fury’s defences.

Fury not quite as aggressive here, content to work behind the jab now and control the pace of the fight.

But he’s still utterly dominant, not driving in as much punishment but in total control, setting up the right off the jab.

Fury vs Chisora

Saturday 3 December 2022 21:44 , George Flood

Round 3

This is pure survival mode already for Chisora, who is being absolutely battered at the start of the third.

Fury is raining in massive clean shots, thudding in the huge power with both hands.

How long will this be allowed to continue?

It’s all Fury, who is so spitefully sharp and accurate, measuring his punches to perfection.

Chisora takes another big blow when trying to launch a rare attack.

Fury cannot miss with the uppercut, he drives in another and Chisora is left hanging on, with both men tumbling backwards and down.

The bell sounds. Chisora needs to show something in the fourth or this will be stopped.

Round 2

Chisora knows all about that Fury jab after two previous meetings and has already taken a lot of them here, with Fury using it nicely to set up his right hand.

Chisora has success with a signature wide looping right, but the second is missed and leads to Del Boy eating another sharp uppercut.

Fury is really hitting his stride now, jabbing so well and hurting Chisora with a beautiful right uppercut.

Chisora is hurt and he’s against the ropes, with Fury measuring his shots and letting his hands go.

A left uppercut and huge right goes in. Chisora claims he isn’t bothered, but he’s in trouble!

Saved by the bell.

Round 1

A positive start from Chisora in the black, green and silver shorts.

He gets on the front foot as promised and rattles in some heavy shots to the body.

But Fury - in red and gold trunks - claims back centre ring and thunders down some big blows to the head.

An electric start!

Fury is now settling in and finding his rage, jabbing well and utilising the snapping right uppercut.

Plenty of grappling now as Fury smothers on onrushing Chisora.

Saturday 3 December 2022 21:23 , George Flood

Huge cheers for Fury, who emerges from his dressing room in lots of layers underneath that red and silver gown and orange bobble hat.

‘Red Right Hand’ by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds plays in the background and it’s a clear Peaky Blinders theme as a Johnny Dogs voiceover pipes in.

All Fury’s crew are wearing the hats.

Now ‘Three Lions’ is blasted out ahead of England’s World Cup last-16 clash with Senegal in Doha tomorrow night.

A massive England flag adorns the ramp.

Saturday 3 December 2022 21:20 , George Flood

Bob Marley soundtracks the scene as Chisora is walked to the ring, looking all business.

This is only the second world championship challenge of his 45-fight professional career, you might be surprised to learn.

He was outpointed by Vitali Klitschko in Munich back in 2012.

Saturday 3 December 2022 21:18 , George Flood

They are really building this up, with Chisora not even having left his dressing room when the music started playing.

One long walk later and he is up on the ramp, engaging with fans and draped in a regal green cloak, cap and red gloves.

Saturday 3 December 2022 21:15 , George Flood

The atmosphere is fizzing inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which looks quite a picture on this crisp winter night with lasers and lights shooting every which way.

Don’t go anywhere - Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora is NEXT!

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:55 , George Flood

McGuigan and promoter Frank Warren both express their pride in Dubois coming back to win that so emphatically despite the injury.

McGuigan says he will need a scan before recovery time and his next fight can be determined.

Dillian Whyte mentioned as a potential next opponent again.

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:48 , George Flood

Dubois says in his post-fight interview with BT Sport Box Office that it was his knee that went after being caught on top of the head.

But he says he didn’t feel it after that and was able to get the job done after a nightmare opener, having been sharply woken up.

Trainer Shane McGuigan thinks he’s done a ligament.

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:45 , George Flood

Still can’t quite believe what we just saw there.

Dubois looked finished in that first round after the knockdown and apparent ankle injury.

Why on earth did Lerena not go for it in the second?! A better quality heavyweight would have.

In the end he pays a bitter price, with Dubois producing a devastating display of power in the third.

Remarkable! Some heart on display there.

Round 3

Dubois brushes aside concerns over that ankle to EXPLODE in the third!

He finds the mark with some crushing blows and sends Lerena down with a peach of a power right hand!

Lerena is back on his feet but very unsteady and absorbs more heavy punishment, being sent down again by a variety of shuddering blows including a nasty uppercut!

The count starts again but referee Howard Foster has waved it off!

DUBOIS DRAGS HIMSELF OFF THE CANVAS TO WIN! WOW!

Talk about drama...

Dubois vs Lerena

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:36 , George Flood

Round 2

A better end to the second from Dubois, but that ankle is a massive concern.

Replays show he did stumble backwards and go over on it badly after being caught on the top of the head in the first.

Trainer Shane McGuigan is telling him that he’ll have to be very careful and selective here, as he’s being impacted every time he over-extends.

Dubois still carries the power to win this even with a dodgy ankle, but his arsenal is now very restricted.

He’s fighting off the back foot.

Dubois vs Lerena

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:25 , George Flood

This could be a short-lived chief support act.

‘Gutter Dog’ Lerena is a career cruiserweight fighting at this level for only the third time.

He gives up a lot of height and weight to the formidable Dubois, who will be itching to make another statement as he hopes to challenge for the main WBA belt held by Usyk next year.

He will also want that statement to come on home soil, having only beaten Bogdan Dinu here in a low-key affair in Telford since that shock defeat by Joe Joyce in November 2020.

His first-round blitz of Joe Cusumano last summer was also Stateside.

To the judges’ scorecards we go!

117-111, 116-112 x2 - all in favour of Denys Berinchyk, who adds the European gold to his long-held WBO International lightweight title.

He stays unbeaten as a professional at 17-0. Mendy drops to 47-6-1.

A scrappy affair that won’t last long in the memory.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:11 , George Flood

Round 12

Berinchyk just shades another attritional final round that is very much in keeping with the tone of the entire fight.

No big finish from Mendy, who is heading for a wide points defeat having been outworked for the majority of this contest.

Both men raise their hands after the final bell, but surely Mendy but doesn’t really think he’s won.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:07 , George Flood

Round 11

Mendy steps on the gas in the first half of the penultimate round, with strong encouragement from his corner - who must know he needs a knockout now.

But issues with finding more than one punch at a time have dogged him all fight.

Berinchyk is going to coast to a points win, bar some last-gasp drama in the 12th.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:04 , George Flood

Round 10

Mendy has to find something here.

Apart from a couple of better middle rounds, he’s been outworked and outlanded throughout the majority of this fight.

He’s going to need something big in the final couple of rounds to keep hold of the European title he worked for so long to win.

He’s got to go for broke or else hope that Berinchyk slows down again.

A bit naughty from Berinchyk as he pushes Mendy, who ends up flat on his back in the middle of the ring. Obviously no knockdown!

Saturday 3 December 2022 20:01 , George Flood

We’ve just seen footage of Fury backstage warming up with his England football shirt on.

He’s about to have his hands wrapped.

Fury did say he would fly out to Qatar to support England in the World Cup quarter-finals if they beat Senegal in their last-16 tie in Doha tomorrow.

He also courted controversy by suggesting he would flout their strict rules on alcohol.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 19:58 , George Flood

We’ve reached the end of the ninth in this contest.

Berinchyk has rather found that second wind after running out of steam somewhat and allowing Mendy back into the fight in the middle rounds.

He’s rediscovered that motor and is back to throwing punches at a higher volume.

Mendy just looks uncomfortable when he steps up the tempo, although he has success with a couple of decent shots towards the end of that round.

Round 7

Anthony Yarde and Artur Beterbiev, who face off for the WBC, IBF, and WBO light-heavyweight titles at Wembley Arena in January, join the likes of Usyk and Joyce at ringside tonight.

Not too much action in a close seventh round as a gruelling lightweight battle continues.

Mendy is definitely having more joy now, with Berinchyk needing to find a second wind.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 19:46 , George Flood

Round 6

Just signs that Mendy is starting to gain some confidence through the halfway stage, despite likely being some way down on the cards.

He is capable of landing that right nicely and can switch up his attacks well from body to head.

The problem being throughout so far that he is not really able to piece together the combinations, more single shots that are returned with a flurry from the Ukrainian.

Berinchyk is definitely slowing, not quite as much volume coming from him now.

Still a real attritional affair being battled at close range that looks destined to go the distance.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 19:43 , George Flood

Round 5

I’ll be very interested to see how the judges are scoring this.

Berinchyk is still the busier fighter, but there have been moments from Mendy on the inside, including a fine right hand over the top that landed well in the fifth.

Berinchyk is able to fire back most of the time, but this is developing into more of an even battle towards the halfway point.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 19:39 , George Flood

Round 4

A familiar pattern in the fourth.

It’s really gruelling stuff, with Berinchyk the busier fighter with a better engine and landing the more eye-catching shots.

But this isn’t mission impossible for Mendy, who is doing better work on the inside at times.

Mendy vs Berinchyk

Saturday 3 December 2022 19:36 , George Flood

Round 3

A bit more success from Mendy in the third, drilling in that useful right hand to good effect on a couple of occasions.

Berinchyk is still the aggressor as he switches up his stances and tries to confuse the vastly experienced Frenchman, who stunned Luke Campbell in this city seven years ago.

It’s all a bit scrappy and gritty through three rounds, all of which have probably been banked by the busier Berinchyk.

His greater work ethic is likely to prove crucial as this attritional bout progresses.

This is only his 17th pro fight. He has also been on the bare knuckle scene, defeating Conor McGregor’s mate Artem Lobov at Mahatch FC 6 in Kyiv last year.

But you get the sense that Mendy is going to struggle badly with his opponent’s work-rate, with Berinchyk hoping to do real damage on the inside.

Itauma stops Belujsky in final round

Saturday 3 December 2022 19:03 , George Flood

Itauma continues to swarm and batter a bruised Belujsky in the eighth and final round.

He has him caught on the ropes and unleashes flurry after flurry, including a sickening blow that detonates behind the left elbow.

That saps whatever remaining energy Belujsky has and he tries to hang on back in the corner as the blows continue to rain down with both hands.

The referee steps in with 1:36 left in the round as Itauma prises open the defences smartly before landing flush with a straight left hand that rocks back Belujsky’s head.

That’s only the second time ‘Big Bad Vlad’ has been stopped. Really impressive stuff from Itauma.

Itauma vs Belujsky

Belujsky is down in the penultimate round!

Itauma shows fantastic poise and anticipation to rock the Slovakian with a hard short right.

It clearly hurt him and Itauma ups the punishment, swarming and overwhelming his opponent, who absorbs more heavy punishment and several more chopping blows before being sent spiralling backwards and down to the canvas.

He rises and just beats the count and we’ll carry on, but Belujsky cannot have much left in the tank.

He makes it to the bell at the end of the seventh... just.

Saturday 3 December 2022 18:56 , George Flood

Again Itauma is asked to up the level and go through the gears before the start of round seven.

He’s into uncharted territory here, but will be grateful for the rounds - especially when he’s boxing so well.

There will surely be chances to finish this late on as Belujsky continues to tire.

Itauma vs Belujsky

Saturday 3 December 2022 18:52 , George Flood

It’s still one-way traffic in this bout, with Itauma still jabbing like a dream and moving in and out with real grace, landing plenty.

He switches up his attacks from head to body so smartly, including a nice right hook to the body late in the fifth.

Belujsky had a bit more success in the fourth, but he’s just not got the hand, foot or head speed to compete on the same level here.

His attacks are mostly costly lunges from too far out that see him peppered with sharp and accurate counters.

When he does look to land heavy, Itauma has the foot speed and head movement to get out of danger.

Having said that, Belujsky is a tough and resilient customer and is proving tricky to get rid of.

Joe Joyce at ringside tonight

Saturday 3 December 2022 18:47 , George Flood

Not only is Usyk in the house tonight, but Joe Joyce is already at ringside at what must be a very chilly Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Remember, Fury has said repeatedly that he is willing to face Joyce next if the Usyk fight does not come through for early 2023.

‘The Juggernaut’ of course won the vacant WBO interim heavyweight title with that impressive late knockout of Joseph Parker in Manchester in September.

That made him a mandatory challenger for Usyk.

Itauma has speed but he also carries obvious power in both hands.

That piercing jab is such a weapon and he continues to utilise it to excellent effect, setting up his attacks perfectly.

He’s keeping Belujsky at range when he needs to but then getting inside off the jab and landing nicely with thudding power at close quarters.

A great start from the Chatham man, who is cruising early on here.

Round 1

A sharp start indeed from the confident Itauma, unbeaten at 8-0, who is competing in his first eight-rounder.

He was very quick to assert a stinging right jab, boxing behind it nicely and with patience.

Belujsky has tried to launch a few attacks but is generally being kept too far away, with Itauma able to rattle in a couple of decent counters when he lunges forward.

Next it’s Slovakian-born Kent light-heavyweight Karol Itauma, who takes on Vladimir Belujsky in a scheduled eight-rounder.

‘Big Bad Vlad’ - a former Youth Olympic gold medalist - hails from Slovakia but now fights out of Ireland.

Watch: Barney-Smith smashes Perez in seconds

Saturday 3 December 2022 18:25 , George Flood

Another real statement from the 18-year-old, who needed just 36 seconds to decimate Paul Holt in his last fight at York Hall back in September.

Frank Warren and Queensbury Promotions have a really exciting talent on their hands.

Barney-Smith blitzes Perez inside first minute

I did not even have time to introduce the next fight!

Highly-rated undefeated young Hampshire super-featherweight Royston Barney-Smith has just blasted out Cruz Perez inside a minute.

Another first-round blitz from the stylish southpaw, who detonated a peach of a left-hand counter upstairs that landed flush and sent his Nicaraguan challenger down.

Perez did rise to beat the count, but the referee was not happy with what he saw.

Emphatic again from ‘Sugar Boy Roy’! He goes to 4-0.

Burton brushes aside Porozovs

Saturday 3 December 2022 18:14 , George Flood

Two fights down now, with Fury’s cousin Hosea Burton joining Isaac Lowe in emerging victorious early on in north London.

Like Lowe he has also bounced back nicely, recovering from that British light-heavyweight title defeat against Dan Azeez 13 months ago to comfortably outpoint Latvia’s Reinis Porozovs in a six-rounder.

He moves to 27-3.

Usyk in the building

Saturday 3 December 2022 18:09 , George Flood

Footage circulated of Usyk arriving in London earlier on today and he’s just been filmed backstage at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Of course he’s here to go face-to-face with Fury and lay down the challenge, but he’s also in attendance to support compatriot Denys Berinchyk.

His fellow Ukrainian takes on Yvan Mendy for the European light-heavyweight title later on.

British fight fans may best know Frenchman Mendy for his stunning win over Luke Campbell back in 2018.

Isaac Lowe opens undercard with win

One early undercard fight is already in the books at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Former English, Commonwealth and WBC International featherweight champion Isaac Lowe has successfully bounced back after successive defeats by Luis Alberto Lopez and Nick Ball.

The Fury undercard regular has just outpointed India’s Sandeep Singh Bhatti in the first bout of the evening, 60-54.

Arum: Don’t discount Chisora... he has a tremendous punch

Saturday 3 December 2022 17:45 , George Flood

Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum was equally enthusiastic that the Usyk undisputed bout could be finalised within the next two weeks, though he warned against underestimating the power carried by Chisora.

“I don’t see any reason why the Usyk fight with Tyson Fury can’t be made speedily without much trouble,” he said.

“I know the Usyk people very well. I know Oleksandr Usyk. I know he wants the fight. I talked with Tyson a little while ago, and he wants the fight.

“That fight will happen next unless Mr Chisora lands his punch. Don’t discount Chisora. He has a tremendous punch.”

Usyk wants to ‘look into the eyes of his next opponent'

Saturday 3 December 2022 17:31 , George Flood

Krassyuk added that the Usyk-Fury fight is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia in late February or early March, as did Usyk’s rematch win over Anthony Joshua in August.

“This fight can happen at every point of the earth,” he told BBC Sport. “At this point in time our number one priority is our partners in the Middle East, which is Saudi Arabia.”

On Usyk’s presence at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight, the scene of his greatest career night in the first Joshua bout last September, the promoter added: “Usyk will definitely want to look into the eyes of his next opponent.

“He will be at ringside watching and maybe after the [fight] he will want to say a couple of words to the winner.

“He wants to prove, to make a statement to the whole world that he is ready for that fight [with Fury].”

Usyk has previous with Chisora too of course, having been given a stern test at Wembley Arena in a decision win back in October 2020 in only his second appearance after moving up from cruiserweight.

Usyk vs Fury undisputed clash ‘very close'

Saturday 3 December 2022 17:17 , George Flood

Oleksandr Usyk’s expected presence at ringside tonight should provide no shortage of fireworks.

Promoter Alex Krassyuk has confirmed this week that the undisputed clash with Tyson Fury that everyone wants to see is almost agreed for early 2023.

“We are very close. This fight is almost about to happen. This is a historical fight,” he told BBC Sport.

“It is a special moment for Usyk because he has a chance to unify the belts in two divisions, being the cruiserweight undisputed champion and becoming the undisputed champion at heavyweight. He can’t miss this opportunity.

“From Usyk’s point of view, Usyk is ready to take this challenge.

“All we need is Tyson Fury’s yes to go with, how he used to say, a Ukrainian rabbit middleweight. He [will] get bitten and his belt will go to Ukraine.”

Chisora promises ‘best first round in boxing history’

Saturday 3 December 2022 17:02 , George Flood

The eccentric character that is Chisora, meanwhile, has been a surprisingly calm figure all week as he faces arguably the toughest of tasks for any heavyweight on the planet tonight.

Having been schooled twice by Fury before, it appears that Del Boy - unlike the passive Whyte back in April - is going to be looking to throw huge bombs from the off in north London and has promised an absolutely unmissable first round.

Could he land the sort of thundering shot that could lead to a massive upset? It’s very likely to be his best and possibly only chance.

“I’m buzzing, I’m excited,” Chisora said after the weigh-in last night. “It’s going to be electric.

“We’ve shook on it, we said we’re going to go toe-to-toe with the best first round in boxing history basically.”

Fury promises ‘carnage’: ‘I’m ready for war'

Saturday 3 December 2022 16:47 , George Flood

Tonight’s main event certainly has its fair share of detractors, and it is obviously a far cry from the Usyk undisputed clash or long-awaited Anthony Joshua showdown that we originally hoped we might be getting.

However, Fury has promised fight fans there will be “carnage” at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he looks to send an emphatic message to Usyk at ringside and clock an explosive 33rd professional victory.

“We’re going to throw down again and we’re going to put on an absolutely brilliant fight,” he said after an intense final staredown with Chisora at last night’s weigh-in.

“Carnage. Just expect carnage. It’s going off.

“We’re looking for a...bang, I hit him, he hits the floor and I drive straight back to Morecambe Bay.

“As soon as it goes ding ding, it’s on. On like Donkey Kong, and I’m going to jab his nut right off.

“Whether it’s one round or 12, I’m ready. I’m ready for war.”

Fury vs Chisora weigh-in results

Saturday 3 December 2022 16:39 , George Flood

Fury weighed in at 268lbs on Friday night, four pounds heavier than he was against Whyte back in April.

Chisora, meanwhile, tipped the scales at 260lbs, having weighed around 258 in his rematch with Pulev over the summer.

It is almost a career-heaviest for Del Boy, who was 261 for the first fight between these old rivals some 11 years ago.

He went down to 241 for the rematch in 2014, but it helped little as Fury eased to another victory.

Daniel Dubois headlines undercard

Saturday 3 December 2022 16:26 , George Flood

Chief support tonight is provided by another heavyweight tussle, with Daniel Dubois defending the WBA ‘Regular’ title he took from Trevor Bryan on a bizarre night in Miami in June against South Africa’s former cruiserweight Kevin Lerena.

France’s Yvan Mendy also puts his European light-heavyweight title on the line against Denys Berinchyk of Ukraine, who will be supported by Usyk and promoter Alex Krassyuk.

Fury vs Chisora fight prediction

Saturday 3 December 2022 16:22 , George Flood

Fury is a massive, overwhelming favourite here for a reason. Chisora will be game as ever and willing to throw bombs at every opportunity no doubt, the problem being that he is unlikely to ever get close enough to the champion to do any damage.

As we’ve seen countless times now, the towering Fury is an absolute master of the footwork, movement and angles, utilising his remarkable ring IQ and skillset to dominate vastly inferior challengers, as we saw against Dillian Whyte.

And since that second fight with Deontay Wilder, he’s also added the explosive power he needs to finish off struggling challengers with aplomb.

Del Boy won’t lack heart and determination as ever, but another emphatic Fury knockout is on the way. We’ll go with round six again.

As ever, those exact timings are subject to change depending on the length of the undercard fights.

Good afternoon and welcome to Standard Sport’s LIVE coverage of Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The stakes are high in north London tonight as two old British heavyweight rivals and friends clash for the third time in front of a sold-out crowd.

Fury is an enormous favourite to seal a hat-trick of victories over Chisora this evening and tee up his undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk - expected to be in attendance here - early next year.

However, the hard-hitting and determined ‘Del Boy’ is never to be underestimated and could completely alter the course of boxing’s blue-riband division with an almighty upset.
