There's a reason why beauty products go viral for their customer-touted, show-stopping abilities: Everyone has their own unique hair needs and desires, and these products can be tailored to solve them. That's why it's not surprising that bespoke beauty brands, like Function of Beauty, have become incredibly popular. Right now, you can get your hands on Function of Beauty's newest item, the $29 Custom Styling Primer, to smooth and voluminize your strands.

Custom Styling Primer claims to be "formulated with your unique styling goals and hold level to easily achieve any style." While no two bottles will be the exact same—ahem, it's customizable after all—the spray's key ingredients include "styling hybrid polymers" to prime the hair for styling, hydrolyzed rice protein to add volume and bounce at at the root and provitamin B5 to condition hair and reduce frizz. The primer also claims to offer heat protection up to 450 degrees, prevent color fading and protect against UV rays.
To create your custom spray, you'll fill out a short survey that asks about your hair type and texture, style goals, how much hold you want the primer to give your hair and more. You can even choose your primer's fragrance (or lack thereof) and scent strength.
