The World Health Organization's Europe chief sounded the alarm on Tuesday about healthcare provision in Ukraine during the war with Russia and called for an investigation into more than 200 attacks on the healthcare system. A China Southern Airlines spokesperson said on Tuesday the delivery timetable for Boeing Co 737 MAX jets was not confirmed, after the company's chairman last week gave investors fleet plans through 2024 that did not include the MAX. Rivals China Eastern and Air China have refrained recently from providing a timetable but China Southern had done so in its annual report released in late March. China Southern Chairman Ma Xulun told investors in a presentation last week that excluding the MAX, the airline is expected to take the delivery of 30 aircraft in 2022, 36 next year and 12 in 2024, in line with the figures in the annual report.

FAA to let United use jets grounded after engine failure
Federal safety regulators have approved a path for United Airlines to resume using dozens of Boeing 777 jets that have been grounded since the engine on one plane blew apart over Denver last year. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed Tuesday that it has approved steps necessary for flights to resume using the planes, which have engines made by Pratt & Whitney. United’s chief commercial officer, Andrew Nocella, said some of the planes will be in use within a week.

Serbia's PM links bomb hoaxes with ties with Russia
Serbia's prime minister alleged on Tuesday that nearly 100 bomb threats that have prompted mass evacuations of schools and public venues were part of pressure from abroad against Belgrade over its refusal to sanction Russia over the war in Ukraine. Emailed threats have been sent to more than 90 schools, and venues including the presidency building, bridges, shopping malls, restaurants, Belgrade's zoo and a football stadium. Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said, without providing evidence or giving further details, that the hoaxes originated from abroad because of Serbia's stance on Russia.
