Four civilians hospitalized in daylight Russian shelling of Kherson

Four civilians were injured in yet another Russian attack on Kherson’s Korabelny district around14:00 on Nov. 5, the city’s Military Administration’s head Roman Mrochko reported on Telegram.

The Prosecutor General's Office has opened a criminal investigation into the attack for violation ofthe laws and customs of war (Article 438, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Those found responsible may face up to 12 years in prison.

Russian invasion forces have regularly shelled the city of Kherson and the region liberated by Ukraine last year. In a recent incident on Nov. 4, one civilian was killed and another injured in an enemy shelling attack on the city center.

Another 3 people were wounded in the Russian strike on Kherson on Nov. 3.
