These White Sneakers Are Nearly Identical to Meghan Markle’s — and They’re $30 Cheaper

Meghan Markle knows a thing or two about comfortable fashion, especially when it comes to footwear. She’s a huge purveyor of the white sneaker trend, and opted for pairs like the Stella McCartney x Adidas Stan Smiths and Veja V-10 sneakers on numerous stops of her whirlwind royal tour last year.

Though the Stella McCartney kicks are almost completely sold out, you can still get her beloved V-10s at Nordstrom. And bargain hunters, take note: The Veja Esplars, which look almost identical to the V-10s, were just released on Amazon — and they’re $30 less.

Last fall, after attending a reception in Sydney, Meghan traded her Aquazzura slingback pumps for those Veja sneaks to watch an Invictus Games sailing event. The French brand, known for its sustainable footwear, produces shoes from materials like the skin of tilapia fish and a leather-like material made from curdled milk — but you wouldn’t know it because of its sleek, trendy design.

Of course, the eco-friendly V-10 sneakers sold out in white when Meghan wore them back in October, but it looks like they’re finally here to stay. Plus, with the arrival of the nearly-identical, less expensive Esplar style on Amazon, shopping the look has become more accessible than ever.

White sneakers have long been a staple in Meghan’s wardrobe. Before becoming royalty she was frequently spotted in a pair of Classic Leather Reeboks. Both pairs of her new white sneaks also feature minimalistic detailing, making them the perfect on-trend, Instagram-worthy shoe that goes with practically everything.
