Former Indiana player breaks into LSU football locker room, claims he's reason LSU won 2019 title

A college football conflict grew out of control quickly at LSU on Monday.

After allegedly breaking into the LSU football locker room, former Indiana football defensive tackle Ralph Green III was arrested and booked on several assault-related charges, WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, reported Wednesday, citing "arrest documents."

The LSU Police Department was called to the scene after Green allegedly followed a woman into the Tigers' locker room, where he cornered another witness and then assaulted him and threatened to kill him, WBRZ reported.

The police told Green to leave, but he allegedly threatened another witness and refused verbal commands. The officers used department-issued tasers on Green, then attempted to handcuff him as he spit at them.

Green, who was recorded outside of Tiger Stadium in handcuffs surrounded by police and security, allegedly claimed he was the reason LSU won the 2019 national championship, LSU Tiger TV, LSU's official student-run media station, reported.

Green was brought to the LSUPD headquarters and allegedly spat on the transporting officer, WBRZ reported. He was escorted to the hospital after being stunned. He allegedly continued to spit on hospital staff and assaulted an EMT, then a stun gun was used and Green was booked at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Green was booked under charges of battery of emergency medical service, resisting an officer by force, battery of a police officer and public intimidation.

According to a report by The Daily Hoosier, Green was charged in 2015 while at Indiana with battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Battery and public intoxication charges were dismissed, but Green pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He served a one-year probation and did 50 hours of community service.
