Floodwaters Submerge Roads Near Yamba in Northeastern New South Wales

Flooding left key roads underwater near Yamba, New South Wales, on March 1, as the state’s northern coast was hit by heavy rainfall.

The town of Yamba was left isolated by the flooding, The Daily Examiner reported.

The Bureau of Meteorology warned on March 4 of “some possibility” in renewed rises of the Clarence River into the weekend due to rainfall.
