Heavy monsoon rainfall led to severe flooding in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday, August 11, according to the city’s fire department.

The National Weather Service reported that more than half an inch of rain fell on Thursday, making the 2022 monsoon season the “wettest” in the previous decade.
