Flash Flooding Inundates Southwest Kentucky

A flash flood warning was issued for Hopkinsville and nearby areas as heavy rain inundated southwest Kentucky, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

The NWS reported “dangerous, life-threatening” flooding as storms moved through Kentucky. The weather service said highways were flooded and water was entering some homes on Sunday morning.
