First trailer for Taron Egerton's Netflix thriller
The tense first trailer for Taron Egerton’s new Netflix thriller Carry-On has been released.
The upcoming movie sees the Rocketman star play a TSA agent who is blackmailed by a mysterious traveller (played by Ozark’s Jason Bateman).
Ahead of its release this December on the streaming service, the first teaser promises a huge thrill ride.

“There’s people in control, and there’s people that listen… I’m the guy you listen to,” Bateman's voice declares at the start.
We then see Egerton’s character Ethan Kopek in the airport as he puts on an earpiece, the mysterious traveller’s voice warning him that “today is a day you’re gonna remember for a very long time”, but he will have a “chance to forget it” if he handles it right.
Bateman’s character then threatens to “execute” someone close to Ethan if he doesn’t do what he demands – namely letting a dangerous package slip through, as we then see a montage of action-filled clips.
“All you have to do is nothing,” the traveller adds.

Carry-On’s synopsis teases that Egerton’s character "fights to outsmart a mysterious traveller (Bateman) who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight".
As well as the two aforementioned stars, the movie will star Descendants’ Sofia Carson, Till's Danielle Deadwyler, Once Upon a Time’s Sinqua Walls, The OC's Logan Marshall-Green, Sons of Anarchy’s Theo Rossi and Breaking Bad's Dean Norris.
It comes from Black Adam director Jaume Collet-Serra, with TJ Fixman and Michael Green writing the screenplay.
Carry-On’s Christmas release date was confirmed back in August, while a teaser clip was previewed back in February.
Carry-On will stream on Netflix from December 13.
