First trailer for Nick Frost's horror-comedy with Heartstopper star
Get Away, the new horror-comedy starring Nick Frost and Heartstopper’s Sebastian Croft, has unveiled its first trailer.
The film, which was previously called Svalta, follows a family as they navigate a remote island after a serial killer goes on the loose. To make matters worse, the locals seem unbothered in helping them, leaving the group to fend for themselves.
Also starring Aisling Bea and Maisie Ayres, the trailer begins with the family embarking on their holiday, before they gradually realise that the inhabitants of the island are even less friendly than they originally appeared.

The film, which was written by Frost and directed by Steffen Haars, recently had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest (September 20), with several fans taking to social media to share their thoughts.
"GET AWAY is a nice little horror/comedy treat. Nick Frost is clearly having a great time. Fun little twist in there that really worked for me. #FantasticFest," wrote one pleased viewer on X/Twitter.
"To put Get Away in a nutshell, it's like a comedic version of The Wicker Man. Extremely bloody in its second half. Nick Frost is as silly and mesmerizing as always. Fairly unexpected twist, as well. @fantasticfest #FantasticFest," added a second user.

"GET AWAY is a blast! Nick Frost writes and stars in this tourist trap horror-comedy with hints of everything from Midsommar to Sightseers. Nails the 'vacation invaders' vibe while saving some bloody-good surprises for later. #FantasticFest," remarked a third viewer.
A fourth fan also shared a positive review, writing: "GET AWAY. British family takes a vacation to an off-kilter Swedish isle that’s about to embark on a pagan-style celebration. Steeped in wit and black humor, you can see where it’s going, but it takes nothing away from the riotous fun this delivers. #FantasticFest."
Get Away is released in cinemas on December 6.
