First trailer for Ke Huy Quan's new action movie with Ariana DeBose
Love Hurts, the new action movie starring Oscar winners Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose, has unveiled its first trailer.
The upcoming film stars Quan as Marvin Gable, a Milwaukee-based real estate agent whose life is upended when he receives a mysterious crimson envelope from Rose (DeBose), a former partner-in-crime who he helped escape from his brother's evil plans.
With that, Martin is "thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen, filled with double-crosses and open houses turned into deadly warzones".

The official synopsis concludes: "With his brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu), a volatile crime lord, hunting him, Marvin must confront the choices that haunt him and the history he never truly buried."
Other cast members include former NFL star Marshawn Lynch, Ghosted's Mustafa Shakir, Next Goal Wins actor Rhys Darby and Lord of the Rings star Sean Astin.
The trailer begins with showing a glimpse into Martin's seemingly mundane life, as he says: "Everyday is an opportunity to change your life. Do you think I just woke up one day as a top-selling realtor?"
However, it's soon revealed that Martin is actually a "has been killer" and he's forced to go back to his old ways after his villainous brother sends a hit out on him.
"You want the old me?" he asks. "You got him!"

Discussing his reaction to landing the role during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Quan said he was "very excited" but also "confused".
"I go, ‘Wait, why are they offering me this? I'm nothing like this.' I even told him, 'You guys should be calling Jason Statham. He's going to love this script'."
But after meeting with the producers, Quan realised that the film called for "a different kind of action star, not the action star we have seen in the last few decades".
"He's not afraid to be vulnerable; he doesn't look like a badass until the situation is called for. That’s an interesting take on the genre," he added.
Love Hurts arrives in cinemas on February 7, 2025.
