The film casts the duo as former high school sweethearts who reunite decades later, only for Wahlberg's character Mike to be slyly injected as he goes in for a kiss. Waking up in London, he learns that Berry's character Roxanne is a spy, and she needs his help.

Secret agents are being systematically eliminated from a list, and Roxanne and JK Simmons' spymaster character need to train people who are "nobodies yet have street smarts in order to save the world.

The trailer then fast-forwards through Mike's spy training, which he is initially bad at, before becoming more competent and impressing Roxanne.

"Who knew running into your high school sweetheart could lead to a world of espionage?" Berry and Wahlberg wrote when sharing the video to their Instagram pages.
