Based on the book by Bethan Roberts, the film predominantly takes place in 1950s Brighton, and centres on the heartbreaking love triangle between married couple Marion (Corrin) and Tom Burgess (Styles), and the latter's other half Patrick (played by both Peaky Blinders' David Dawson and My Best Friend's Wedding star Rupert Everett).
McKee, who portrayed ill-fated businesswoman Jackie Laverty in Line of Duty's first series, is set to play an older version of Corrin's character Marion, while Linus Roache (Law & Order) will bring an older Tom to life.
In the new snap, the actor can be seen sporting silver grey hair and a pastel blue coat as she exits a high-street shop carrying a red and white plastic bag.
Genius' Michael Grandage directs, working from a screenplay penned by Oscar-nominated Philadelphia scribe Ron Nyswaner. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schecter and Robbie Rogers, who have worked together previously on numerous titles across the Arrowverse and on The CW in general, are on board as producers.
Meanwhile, earlier this year Styles landed praise for his supporting role in Don't Worry Darling from its director Olivia Wilde: "Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold [centre] stage as our 'Alice', but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity," she wrote.
"He didn't have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards."
