We Finally Found Out Where HGTV's Popular 'Rico to the Rescue' Is Filmed

Renovating a home is a stressful experience, especially when you're working with an unreliable contractor. Luckily, homeowners have a friendly face in their corner, thanks to new HGTV star Rico León, host of Rico to the Rescue. His new show debuted in January, and fans are already tuning in to see who Rico helps next.

Rico is a builder with 12 years of experience working with contractors, insurance adjusters, and lawyers to remedy renovations gone awry. He discovered rescue renovations to be his passion after his parents had a bad experience with a crooked contractor. Now he's helping out more homeowners through his hands-on HGTV show. Rico explains, "On the show, I take what I’ve learned from [my own situations] and help mediate between the contractor and the homeowner. We meet with lawyers, we show you how to break contracts, how to solve issues without going legal. I come to the rescue."

Where is Rico to the Rescue filmed?

The show's first season takes place in Rico's home base of Denver, Colorado, and all the homeowners featured are in the Denver metro area. Rico owns two construction and restoration businesses in Denver and works alongside chief estimator Matt Plowman and interior designer Poonam Moore. But if you're a homeowner embarking on your own renovation, and you don't live in Denver, you'll want to watch to take in Rico's helpful tips and advice.
