She may have looked a million dollars on the red carpet, but Kylie Jenner learnt that sometimes looking good comes with a whole heap of pain.

Making her Met Gala debut, the reality TV starlet looked stunning in a custom made metallic dress by Balmain. But taking to her Snapchat after returning to her hotel room for a quick pit stop pre afterparty, the social media queen revealed that the gorgeous gown had scratched her legs so badly she’d started to bleed. And her barely there strappy heels had left her feet swollen and bruised.

Sharing images of her sartorial wounds to the social media site, the 18-year-old captioned the shot “When ur dress made you bleed and ur feet are purple..” She then posted another picture of herself in bed with the caption “It was worth it though”

Earlier in the evening, Kylie posted a photo of her makeup look for the event to Instagram with the tag “pushing through”, so perhaps the youngest Jenner wasn’t feeling quite as perky as she may have looked.

But despite not feeling on top of her game, and suffering for her fashion choices, Kylie did manage to rally, changing into her second Balmain outfit of the night to head on to the designer afterparty. What a trouper.
