Fantasy Faceoff Week 12 - Mike Davis vs. Josh Jacobs

Mike Davis or Josh Jacobs: Which RB will be a better play in week 12?

Video Transcript

- It's going to be Robby Anderson and DJ Moore. I'll start this one off. And I'm going to go with Robby Anderson in this one. And it's weird to say that Robbie Anderson is like the floor play. But he's had just about the highest floor at the position this season. He entered this week, fourth, in the NFL in receptions.

He's got over 70 catches so far. He leads this team in targets. He is, week in and week out, seeing eight, nine, ten, maybe more targets per game. DJ Moore has spiked a few times. He certainly did last week. He's great. I've got no complaints with him. But Robby Anderson, for me, is the guy with the cleanest path to a top 10, top 12 positional finish.

- I mean, Andy, I think we're on the same page here. This is a floor versus ceiling debate. And I totally agree that Robbie Anderson is the safer of the two plays. But over the past two weeks, we've seen Moore take on a more featured role. He actually has becoming the team's unexpected deep threat. He currently has more deep targets.

18 on this season. Then Anderson, who only has 15. Not a huge difference there. But enough to make me like the ceiling. Moore is also averaging 18.8 yards per reception. That is wild. And evidence of this new role that he is taking on. And so, I'm going to lean into that momentum, after the past pair of weeks. And move forward with it. And I'm liking more ceiling for those reasons.
