Fans Warned After 'Major' Batman Vs Superman Spoiler Leaks

Comicbook movie fans are being warned to beware of a ‘major’ ‘Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’ spoiler which has started appearing online.

According to reports on a number of movie messageboards and forums, a crucial plot twist is now out there and could potentially ruin the movie.

Reddit posted a warning last night, which read: “Hey all. Much like we had to do for The Force Awakens, we have to make an announcement because sadly a major spoiler for Batman vs Superman has been leaked and has already appeared on /r/movies and many other sites.”

The warning goes on to explain that one its moderators has now set up a system to prevent spoilers, but that 'it won’t kill them all’.

Some advise avoiding the web altogether, and even some practical solutions tech solutions that can filter out keywords like 'batman’ or 'superman’ for the more ardent fans.

It’s also advised not to open 'random imgur links’ or to go on notorious sites like 4chan, which can be heavily populated by trolls.

Reddit has also locked the post from being commented upon, in case trolls with a keen sense of irony post spoilers in the comment section of the warning.

Many 'Star Wars’ fans had the climactic moment from 'The Force Awakens’ spoiled ahead of its release last year, with spoilers appearing in comment strands across the web and often in stories completely unrelated to 'Star Wars’.

Fans should, then, perhaps avoid any comments below too…

The movie is not out in the UK until March 25.
