Family Shocked as Cape Cod Shark Feasts on Seal in Front of Them

One family had a memorable Independence Day as a shark feasted on a seal in front of them in Orleans, Massachusetts, on Monday, July 4.

The shark-spotting happened days after the Massachusetts State Police posted aerial footage of a shark in Provincetown.

The Cape Cod National Seashore cautioned visitors to “follow all signage and flag warnings at beaches and instructions of the lifeguards” to avoid shark attacks.
