1) The final of the Copa Libertadores was exactly the quiet night in at the library that we thought it would be. First in the fifth minute of extra-time, poor old Andreas Pereira – on loan to Flamengo from Manchester United – dropped a rick for the ages, fed by David Luiz and dallying on the ball, allowing Deyverson to rob him and score what turned out to be the winner for Palmeiras. 2)Arsenal visit Manchester United on Thursday in a fixture that used to be the most important in English football.
