Explained: The Aromantic Flag

Like asexuals, the aromantic community also finds itself often left out of the larger LGBTQIA+ discourse. Those who are aromantic or ‘aro’ are people who experience little to no romantic attraction. Some aros can be asexual while others may experience sexual attraction. Some may also engage in romantic relationships depending on their personal preferences.

The aromantic flag was designed by Tumblr user Cameron who used the tag cameronwhimsy and found popularity on the platform. Watch the video to learn more.
