'Some experts don't know anything': CeeDee Lamb addresses Dak Prescott criticism

PHOENIX — Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb isn't here for Dak Prescott critics.

"Some experts don't know anything, I'm going to be honest. Because they swear they know Dak (Prescott) inside and out," Lamb told USA TODAY Sports at Super Bowl 57 Radio Row at the Phoenix Convention Center.

Prescott threw for 206 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Cowboys' 19-12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC divisional playoff round, falling short of the NFC title game yet again in their 12th consecutive playoff appearance.

"I'm trying to make it to the big game. I'm tired of getting close," said Lamb, who was drafted out of Oklahoma in 2020. "I've only been in the playoffs two years. This is the farthest I've gotten and I'm tired of the teases."

Lamb said there's plenty of blame to go around for the Cowboys' latest playoff loss.

"Unfortunately we had a couple turnovers," he said. "One guy, one play, it could go either way. I feel like we could have had one more guy step up in the San Francisco game and it could have been different, but every story is written in a different way."

Lamb said he still believes in his quarterback, adding that Prescott just needs to "keep his head in the game" despite the criticism that surrounds him.

"In the position he plays, you know a lot of people are going to be (critical of) him, but I want him to know that I'm always in his corner, no question. He doesn't ever have to doubt that, regardless of how he plays, good, bad or indifferent," he said.

Lamb continued: "I pray my man has a better season next year. I know he will."

The receiver said the Cowboys aren't going to "dwell on the past." Instead, they are focused on moving forward and "building" to get over that playoff hump.

"We have to be better and make moves in the offseason,' he said.
