Exclusive: There are 4 finalists for BCPS superintendent

Baltimore County Public Schools are a step closer to naming a new school superintendent. The district began its nationwide search to replace Darryl Williams a little more than two months ago. Williams announced in January he would not seek a new contract. His term ends June 30. He was appointed in 2019. All week, more than a dozen community groups, community associations, educators, employee unions and board members have interviewed the finalists. As of Thursday, there's no official decision on who will be selected. BCPS received 24 applications from 15 states for the superintendent's job. The list has since been whittled down to four people.
