The next series of Emily in Paris is finally here! However, despite season three *just* launching, we're already desperate to know if we'll be getting a fourth season of Emily Cooper's very chaotic adventures in Paris. This is everything we know about season four so far, including the potential release date, cast and more.
What have the cast and crew said about Emily in Paris season 4?
OK, we might just be settling into season three, but the cast and crew are already getting us excited about Emily in Paris season four.
Most recently, series creator and showrunner Darren Star opened up to Entertainment Weekly about what we can expect from S4 - and, crucially, Mindy's Eurovision Song Contest entry.
Asked whether Mindy and Benoit will indeed be heading to Eurovision in season four, Star revealed, "Yes, I hope so. That's the plan. I think we've got a really wonderful Eurovision-worthy song that can be quite competitive."
He continued, "And I think for Mindy that part is still really important to her, that artistic side. And it's why she came to Paris. I think it's gonna reignite that passion and that dream."
Emily in Paris + Eurovision = literally a match made in heaven. Can't wait!
Previously, Emily actor Lily Collins teased what's to come, revealing that the season three finale will make fans "wish there was a season four right away". Argh, so much suspense!
Lily addressed Emily's Alfie/Gabriel love triangle during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, explaining that "it all kind of blows up" in the season three finale.
As for how this will impact season four, she revealed, "So the finale really is the ultimate cliffhanger yet again, because there's about five different things that happened in the span of however many minutes that all of a sudden makes you wish there was a season four right away."
Lily went on to add that the season three ending "definitely will leave you guessing" for S4. Too much tension!
When was Emily in Paris season 4 confirmed?
Yesssss!!! All the way back in January this year Netflix confirmed Emily In Paris would be back for two more seasons following the success of the second season.
Lily Collins who plays Emily Cooper also shared the exciting news on her Instagram with a picture of herself wearing an Emily in Paris pyjama set.
She captioned her post: "Woke up early to give you some VERY exciting news… @emilyinparis is back for Season 3… AND wait for it, Season 4!!!!! I can’t tell if Emily would love or hate this announcement outfit but she’d be screaming either way. Truly love you all, thanks so much for the incredible support. Seriously cannot wait for more. When will Emily in Paris season 4 be released?
As of yet there is not a confirmed release date for Emily in Paris season four. However, given the previous release dates we can make a good guess at when it could be.
The first season was released in October 2020, with season two being released in December 2021 and now the third season being released this December. If the fourth season follows this same pattern we can hope to see Emily and co return next December.
Who might star in Emily in Paris season 4?
Right now the full cast list for Emily In Paris season four has not been confirmed, but given the show is all about her we can pretty much guarantee Lily Collins will be returning for her role as Emily Cooper.
We would also hope the main cast members Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Camille Razat (Camille), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), and William Abadie (Antoine Lambert) would reprise their roles.
Depending on the decision Emily makes when it comes to her heart, it could determine whether Lucien Laviscount (Alfie) or Lucas Bravo (Gabriel) return. However, we're keeping our fingers crossed they both do!
What will season 4 of Emily in Paris be about?
We don't know too much yet, but we can take a guess following the events of season three.
S3 sees Emily at a crossroads of crucial decisions. Will she stay at Savoir, or will she join Sylvie's new company? And will it be Alfie or Gabriel who has her heart? (We're not spoiling anything!). Either way, we know that season four will be dealing with the fallout.
