Yahoo Movies Emmerdale's Dawn makes a big decision after death news
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has revealed details of a new storyline for Dawn Fletcher.
The ITV soap will explore Dawn's past after she receives news that one of her friends has died.
In next week's episodes, Dawn discovers that her best friend Beth has suffered a fatal drug overdose.
With support from her husband Billy, an upset Dawn decides to attend the funeral.

After the service, Dawn spends time with another old friend, Jade, and they reflect on their past.
Jade invites Dawn to come back to her place, and she agrees, despite knowing deep down that it's probably not a good idea.
Dawn is stunned to find a child, Clemmie, at Jade's threadbare house.
As Jade takes drugs, she explains that Clemmie is Beth's daughter and doesn't even know that her mum has died.

Seeing that this isn't a safe environment for Clemmie, Dawn decides to intervene.
She initially tries offering Jade money to help her out at this difficult time, but things turn nasty. Dawn then goes a step further by taking Clemmie back to the village, wanting to protect her.
Billy insists that Dawn must go through the proper channels by calling social services, but she refuses.
Billy eventually agrees that Clemmie can stay with them for one night, but will he be able to convince Dawn to do the right thing the next morning?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
