Yahoo Movies Emmerdale hints at Faith's final scenes in 50th anniversary episodes

Emmerdale has hinted that Faith Dingle's heartbreaking final scenes will air in the show's 50th anniversary episodes.
The popular character is currently taking centre stage in an emotional storyline following the news that her cancer has returned.
Back in May, Faith was told that her illness was treatable but not curable. She later decided to stop receiving chemotherapy treatment and focus on enjoying the time she has left.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media at an Emmerdale press event, the show's producers confirmed that Faith's story will come to a head in October.

Executive producer Jane Hudson explained: "As we start our birthday month, we'll be focusing on our Faith storyline, which is a huge storyline for us at the moment.
"Then we will work our way into our storm week."
She continued: "The Faith story is such an emotional and heartbreaking story. It's going to be huge across our 50th.
"I think everybody involved in that story is pulling out some of the most amazing performances I've seen in soap for a long time. So that's got a huge part to play."

Jeff Hordley, who plays Faith's son Cain, also addressed his on-screen mum's imminent departure from the show.
He said: "My character is involved in the Faith storyline. I am personally saddened at losing the brilliant Sally Dexter, but it will give us some great stories going forward so I'm looking forward to doing that. That's as much as I know."
Emmerdale's anniversary episodes will play out across the month of October.
As well as the storm disaster coming up, show bosses have teased the temporary returns of Aaron Dingle, Tracy Metcalfe and Diane Sugden to help mark the occasion.
