This is all sorts of lovely.

Emma Watson, the original Hermione from the ‘Harry Potter’ movies, has met up with the new Hermione from the stage show ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’.

- Captain Kirk vs Jesus?

The star popped backstage at the Palace Theatre in London, where the play is still in the middle of its preview performances.

And there she met Noma Dumezweni, who’s playing the part of Hermione as a grown-up, married to an equally grown-up Ron Weasley.

Tweeting about the meeting, Dumezweni said:

Watson also posted about the pair’s meeting:

Watson appears to have taken the plunge to see the show, written by J.K. Rowling and taking up the Harry Potter story post-Hogwarts.

But Daniel Radcliffe has been somewhat reticent about plans to see it.

He told E! News: “I could be completely wrong in this, but I feel like if I went to see it that night, there’s going to be a lot of Harry Potter fans there in the audience obviously and would that then become a thing?

“Would it be more about them watching me watch the show or would it take away from the show?”

Maybe now Watson has been to see it, he might reconsider.
