Emergency Crews Search For Survivors of Miami Condo Collapse Amid Weather Warning

Rescue crews continued the search for survivors after the partial collapse of a condominium building in Surfside, Florida, early on June 24.

At least 99 people were still unaccounted for more than twelve hours after part of the Champlain Towers complex collapsed. Search and rescue operations occured on Thursday, and firefighters were seen working in the parking garage of the building.

Thunderstorms threatened rescue operations as the National Weather Service issued a special marine warning for the area, cautioning of possible waterspouts and strong wind gusts.
