Elk Grove city officials go door-to-door to inform businesses of COVID-19 relief money

City officials and community volunteers in Elk Grove are taking a door-to-door approach to inform businesses about new COVID-19 relief money available to them. Police officers, residents and Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen made efforts in approaching businesses about the grant money for those recovering from closures and restrictions caused by the pandemic. Businesses can apply for grants ranging from $500 to $15,000 since the Elk Grove City Council approved a total of $4 million in federal funding through the American Rescue Plan Act to be put toward the city's 2021 COVID-19 Business Recovery Grant Program.
