Elizabeth Hurley has declared she is one “proud mama” after describing her son, Damian’s new modelling campaign as “ravishing”.
The 55-year-old model headed to Instagram to shared a still from Pat McGrath's new #DarkStarMascara video, which features her son alongside supermodel Irina Shayk.
“Proud Mama had to post this ravishing shot of my son,” Elizabeth wrote in the accompanying caption.
The 18-year-old originally made his modelling debut last year as one of the faces for the cosmetics brand, before being asked to front a second campaign.
In the video clip, which was shot before the coronavirus pandemic, Damian is straddled by a leather-clad, Irina Shayk, as they star in a steamy new campaign for the beauty brand.
Damian also shared an image from the campaign to his Instagram, where he described taking part in the shoot for his “Aunty” McGrath.
McGrath, who also serves as beauty-editor-at-large at British Vogue, was featured on Time’s 100 most influential people list for 2019.
The mascara is officially available now, but ahead of the beauty brand’s new launch McGrath shared several videos from the campaign, which was shot by Steven Meisel.
In the campaign video, Damian highlights a more fresh-faced approach to the mascara as model Irina Shayk shows off a dramatic, sweeping cat eye.
Actress Marisa Berenson provides a short narration of a quote by French writer, Stendahl: “I love her beauty, but I fear her mind.”
Hurley’s lookalike son certainly seems to have inherited his mother’s cool confidence in front of the camera and the duo share more than a passing resemblance, with the same chiselled bone structure, piercing green eyes and long, thick brunette locks.
At a photocall for the launch of his previous Pat McGrath campaign last year, the teen paid homage to his mother’s iconic Versace safety pin dress.
Dressed head-to-toe Versace including loafers, Damian wore a sleek black suit decorated with a series of gold pins.
It was a look reminiscent of a dress his mother, Liz, wore on the red carpet to attend the Los Angeles premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral on the arm of then-boyfriend Hugh Grant in 1994.
Damian, who has previously portrayed Prince Hansel von Liechtenstein in E! series The Royals – which stars Hurley as the Queen – is signed to his mother’s modelling agency, TESS Management.
The mother-son duo share representation with the likes of Suki Waterhouse, Adwoa Aboah, Raf Law (son of Sadie Frost and Jude Law) and Mick Jagger’s daughter, Georgia May Jagger.
The campaign launch comes as last month it was revealed Damian’s father, Steve Bing, a producer and film financier had tragically died, reportedly by suicide.
Following the announcement of his death, Elizabeth Hurley shared a series of old photos of herself with Bing, whom she dated from 2000 to 2001.
Damian also broke his silence in a post shared at the same time as his mother.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has reached out following the devastating news,” the model wrote.
“I’m trying to reply to as many of you as I can, but please know I will always remember your kindness. This is a very strange and confusing time and I’m immensely grateful to be surrounded by my phenomenal family and friends.”
