As the fashion week season is once again upon us, thousands of guests flocked to the U.K.'s capital for an arresting showcase of emerging and established designers. London Fashion Week was once again back in full force this season, despite a multitude of cancelled and rescheduled shows following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Hypebae joined London Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2023 showcase to cover the city's best shows and runway trends, alongside to check out this season's impressive list of rising designers to look out for.

DAY 0

In preparation for a busy fashion week season ahead, fashion rental platform HURR offered its guests the opportunity to rent a curated edit of pieces from the world's buzziest brands, including Jacquemus and Prada alongside rising talent like Bethany Williams and Havre Studio.

British designer Daniel w. Fletcher kicked off the season the night before LFW's first official day, with a sombre presentation that featured a one minute silence as a mark of respect for the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The showcase aptly took place at the Londoner hotel and debuted a collaboration with Axel Arigato.

DAY 1

The first official day of London Fashion Week saw guests attend a truly inclusive runway show from Fashion East designers Karoline Vitto and Jawara Alleyne, alongside a presentation from Standing Ground, followed by Edward Crutchley's car-park chaos. For Hypebae, the next showcase came courtesy of figure-hugging fashion label Poster Girl. The showcase took place at Victoria House with guests like Bimini Bon Boulash and the Clermont Twins in attendance, alongside Jourdan Dunn.

Next up was a presentation from London-based artist Helen Kirkum, who debuted her first ready-to-wear sneaker. Concluding the first day was a runway show courtesy of KNWLS, which saw models drenched in glitter and raw denim.

DAY 2

Masha Popova (aka the designer known for *that* butterfly top that Dua Lipa made viral) kicked off the second day of LFW with a showcase at The Old Selfridges Hotel. Offering guests a masterclass in Y2K style, the designer's SS23 collection consisted of printed denim, cut-outs and low waists. Next up for Hypebae was Molly Goddard's tulletopia, which took place at Seymour Leisure Center.

Following Goddard's vibrant display, attendees headed to Rixo's champagne-filled presentation, just a stone's throw from Borough Market. Rounding off Hypebae's schedule for the day was an eclectic runway show courtesy of Feben, whose beaded dresses and bum cheeks made for the perfect end to the day. Elsewhere, JW Anderson treated guests to a casino-clad showcase which took place in a Soho arcade.

DAY 3

Nensi Dojaka opened day three of LFW with a runway show that included Emily Ratajkowski and a whole lot of mesh. With a venue covered in subtle white flowers, the showcase included Dojaka's signature cut-out dresses and sheer tops.

Next on Hypebae's list was a presentation from footwear designer Ancuta Sarca, whose SS23 offering debut partnerships with SKIMS and Vans.Day three continued with showcases from David Koma, Simone Rocha and Rejina Pyo.

DAY 4

Kicking off the final day of LFW was Susan Fang, an emerging designer whose SS23 showcase took place at Marshall Street Leisure Center, where models pretty much walked on water.

Next on Hypebae's list was a film screening from DiPetsa, taking place in the Selfridges cinema. Attendees then ended up at emerging designer Sinead O'Dwyer's SS23 showcase, which featured models of all abilities, shapes and sizes. Offering a lesson in authentic inclusivity, the showcase was arguably one of the most significant of the season.

Rounding off the day was a showcase from the fashion crowd's favorite designer: Chet Lo. Worn by the likes of Chloe Cherry and Doja Cat, Chet Lo's designs stunned the audience through oversized beach balls, vibrant colors and his signature peaks.
