Editor's Edition: Lack of inventory's effect on Canadian real estate prices

As we return to some sense of normal as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, homeowners seem reluctant to sell in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Vancouver area.

Sales are down, but prices are still beyond the reach of many first-time home buyers.

With a federal election likely on the horizon, housing is expected to be on the agenda. Meanwhile, Ontario’s NDP introduced its plan to make housing more accessible to first time buyers.

We’ve been getting monthly updates from the ground floor from Realosophy Realty’s John Pasalis and Oakwyn Realty’s Steve Saretsky, who help make sense of it all, with advice for anyone buying or selling a home.
