Yahoo Movies Eddie Redmayne Makes a House Call In Fun New PSA: 'I Am a Proud Hufflepuff'
If Hogwarts Houses were Beatles members, Gryffindor and Slytherin would be John and Paul (we’ll leave it to you decide which is which), while Ravenclaw would be moody George, which makes Hufflepuff the Ringo of the school’s own Fab Four.
But you know what? Ringo is pretty darn cool. And Eddie Redmayne — star of the Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which opens in theaters on Fri., Nov. 18 — is here to tell you that being a Hufflepuff is magical as well. “For far too long, Hufflepuffs have been victimized. They call us boring, they call us beige,” the actor earnestly says in a hilarious PSA posted on MTV’s Facebook page. “At the end of the day, we’re going to do the right thing, not because of the glory, but because of the greater good.”

You can’t blame Redmayne for getting huffy about Hufflepuff’s treatment. After all, his Fantastic Beasts character — exotic magical creature tracker Newt Scamander — is a proud Hufflepuff alum.
