Eddie Murphy's daughter has a cameo in Beverly Hills Cop 4
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F star Eddie Murphy has revealed his daughter Bria makes a surprise appearance in the new movie.
The protagonist of the Beverly Hills Cop saga is a father of ten and has explained one of his real-life children has a small role in the upcoming movie. Bria plays a police officer arresting Axel Foley in the fourth film, with her husband also making a cameo.
"She's the one that arrests me," Murphy told Al Roker in an interview on TODAY on June 18.

"And the other scene when I get arrested in the movie, that's my son-in-law tasing me in the neck. It was right after they got married. It was on the set, tasing me in my neck. I was like, 'This is surreal.'"
Speaking about reprising the role of Axel after thirty year from the previous film, Murphy said: "It felt like old man. I did Beverly Hills Cop when I was 21. And I'm 63 now."
The star also recalled an incident from set that made him realise there'd be some things his 63-year-old self wouldn't just do.

"We were shooting something, and the director said, 'I want you to come out of this place and run down those steps.' And after we shot it, he was like, 'Can you come down with more urgency and faster?' And I was like, 'No!'" he said while laughing.
Moving forward, it sounds like Murphy may scale down on the action and look for different roles, inspired by a specific actor.
"I was like, 'I'm not doing anything action. Don't call me unless you're offering me the same type of s**t you would offer Morgan Freeman,'" he joked.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F will be released on Netflix on July 3.
