Ed Sheeran coming to Arrowhead next summer; John Mellencamp two nights at the Midland

Ed Sheeran will return to Kansas City next summer for his third appearance at Arrowhead Stadium.

The British superstar and four-time Grammy Award winner will be joined by Khalid and Cat Burns on his Mathematics Tour here Aug. 5. Sheeran previously played Arrowhead in 2018 and 2015 (with The Rolling Stones).

Tickets will go on sale Oct. 14 through Ticketmaster and AXS, although there will be a presale for Jackson County residents and Chiefs season-ticket holders Oct. 13.

In addition, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp, known for his songs about the heartland, will bring his tour to the Midland for two shows, April 3-4. Tickets go on sale Friday.
