Ed Sheeran announces Kansas City concert, and you may qualify for presale. What to know

On Sunday, the Twitter account for GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium posted a cryptic message featuring math problems, and now we know the answer.

Worldwide superstar Ed Sheeran is bringing his “Mathematics” tour to Kansas City on Aug. 5, 2023. Joining him are R&B singer Khalid and British performer Cat Burns.

The stop at Arrowhead Stadium is one of 21 shows Sheeran will play in North America next year. He’ll also play in Atlanta, Toronto, Vancouver and Las Vegas.

“We are excited to welcome Ed Sheeran back to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in 2023,” Kansas City Chiefs and Arrowhead Events President Mark Donovan said in a statement. “Being able to welcome someone of Ed’s caliber to the Home of the Chiefs is something we take pride in doing.”

This marks the second time Sheeran headlines Arrowhead Stadium, as he last played a show here on Oct. 13, 2018.
