In recent years Dyson has been at the forefront of smart haircare technology, causing shoppers to rave about the brand’s Airwrap stylers and swear they won’t use anything except the Supersonic Hair Dryer.
Now, the British brand has unveiled its take on a tool many of us use daily: hair straighteners.
You might wonder how the brand can up your trusty GHDs, but it turns out Dyson’s latest innovation really does take hair styling to the next level.
The Dyson Corrale is the first ever straightener to be created with flexing plates that shape around hair to gather it.
This means more control and enhanced styling, whether you’re after poker straight locks or voluminous, bouncy curls.
If you think the extra hold means added heat damage, think again. Dyson’s intelligent heat control regulates temperature 100 times a second, meaning half the damage and 50% less breakage.
The straighteners can be plugged in or used cord-less for up to 30 minutes, meaning no more craning your neck to see yourself in the mirror.
Recharging the Corrale takes 70 minutes.
Perhaps best of all, the new Dyson Corrale comes with an auto turn-off mode that switches off the appliance after 10 minutes. No more panicking that you’ve left your straighteners on when you’re already half-way to work.
At £399.99, the price tag may be pretty steep, but if you’re a avid hair straightener the promise of less damage alone makes it a worthy investment.
