Downhill ice cross skater delivers wild daredevil dunk on skates

The NBA will hold its Slam Dunk contest on Mar. 7 this year, but I can guarantee that you will not see a dunk like this at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Robin Worling, the ninth-ranked men’s ice cross downhill skater in the world — yes, that's right — went outdoors and laced up his blades to pull off a dunk I have never seen in my life (via Instagram @robworling14).

The height Worling was able to get on that jump is simply incredible. He was able to soar 25-feet through the air to pull off the impressive cram.

Slam dunk aficionados will notice, however, that he didn’t slam the ball through the hoop, but instead, Worling threw it into the basket. That’s reminiscent of Dwight Howard’s SuperMan dunk at the 2008 NBA Dunk contest.

Instead of dawning a SuperMan cape, Worling elected to go with a Toronto Raptors DeMar DeRozan jersey, something I’m sure fans of The North will certainly appreciate.
