RE/DONE and Ford Celebrate Americana Legacy with an Upcycled Collection

Ethical clothing brand RE/DONE has teamed up with car manufacturer Ford to create a 100% sustainable collection, inspired by Ford's roots. Paying homage to signature Ford vehicles including the Bronco, Mustang and Thunderbird, the collection is made up of a series of upcycled denim jumpsuits, recycled car T-shirts and repurposed deadstock sweatshirts.

Creating a fusion between Americana heritage and conscious practices, the "RE/DONE x Ford" collection celebrates all-American ready-to-wear in a new way. Launched in line with the new electric Ford F-150 Lightning vehicle, the capsule showcases Ford's strive towards a more sustainable world. Shot by renowned fashion photographer Zoë Ghertner at Malibu’s Westward Beach, the campaign stars Devon Lee Carlson.

Alongside the physical collection, RE/DONE has customized a Ford F-150 Lightning and a 1947 Spartanette Trailer, transforming them into an electric mobile pop-up called the RE/DONE x Ford All American Road Show. During the months of July and August, the pop-up will travel around various iconic Los Angeles locations selling exclusive merchandise alongside the Ford collaboration.

"We like to collaborate with the ultimate inventors – Levi's for denim, Hanes for tees, and now, Ford for American cars. Ford is a brand that everybody around the world has a relationship with, and we are so excited to partner with them for their most innovative sustainability initiative yet," says RE/DONE's CEO Sean Barron in a press release.

The "RE/DONE x Ford" capsule collection is now available for purchase on RE/DONE's website alongside select stores globally.
