Get your burrito, get your Nacho Fries: Here's when Taco Bell stops serving breakfast

As of June 2022, there were 7,629 Taco Bell locations in the United States, according to data company ScrapeHero.

ScrapeHero also says there is a Taco Bell in every U.S. state and Washington, D.C., so wherever you are in the nation, the big purple bell likely isn’t far.

If you pass a Taco Bell on your morning commute, you might be wondering about the breakfast hours — or if you’re a big fan of the chain, you might want to know how to get your hands on some limited-availability Nacho Fries.

We have the answers.

When does Taco Bell stop serving breakfast?

Taco Bell's website says breakfast typically is served between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., local time, although opening hours vary by location.

A Taco Bell in Arlington, Virginia confirmed these were its breakfast hours as well. Another in Albuquerque, New Mexico said it also stops serving breakfast at 11 a.m. but doesn't open until 8 a.m.

A Taco Bell in Denton, Texas said it will soon start opening at 9 a.m., two hours later than Taco Bell’s typical hours — although another location in Dallas said it opened at 7 a.m., as most do.

Some locations, like one in Sacramento, California, open drive-through service an hour before dine-in.

If you’re trying to get breakfast on the go during your morning commute, call your local Taco Bell to find out what time it opens. You can also check an individual location’s hours using the company’s “Find Your Taco Bell” tool.

While opening hours differ, 11 a.m. is the cut-off everywhere, so you can get breakfast items like the Toasted Breakfast Burrito and the Breakfast Stacker until 11 a.m. nationwide.

As Thrillist explains, Taco Bell temporarily eliminated its breakfast menu during the COVID-19 pandemic, so it’s possible menu offerings and hours could change in the future.
