Disney Princesses Imagined As Horror Film Characters Is Awesome

Yes, we’ve seen copious amounts of ‘Disney princesses as…’ over the years, but seeing them imagined as terrifying horror movie characters is something rather special.

Let’s contemplate, if you will, ‘Beauty and the Beast’s’ Belle as the deranged Wolfman. (We’re scared already.)

Break.com has published some superbly imaginative efforts that creepily depict various Disney icons, such as ‘Frozen’s’ Elsa and Anna, ‘Sleeping Beauty’s’ Aurora, and Merida from Pixar’s ‘Brave’.

Cinderella as Carrie, for example, is horrifyingly spot on.

Artist Travis Falligant is the talent responsible, and we’ve got to commend him for his talents!

We can only imagine the horrified expressions on kids’ faces if Ariel had emerged from the sea looking like the monster in ‘The Creature from the Black Lagoon’.

We’re not sure Prince Phillip would’ve been best pleased to see ‘Sleeping Beauty’s’ Aurora in this ‘Dracula’-inspired state when he arrived to awaken her from her eternal slumber.

In the past, we’ve seen Disney princesses imagined as ‘Game of Thrones’ characters, or if they used Instagram, or even if they were pregnant (which is a little disturbing). But we’re convinced this collection is the most impressive yet.

‘Brave’s’ Merida as the vicious character from ‘Child’s Play’ is eerily fitting.

And of course no Disney princess collection is complete without its newest additions of Anna and Elsa from super hit ‘Frozen’.

Their portrayal as the creepy, murdered twins from Stanley Kubrick’s ‘The Shining’ is all sorts of perfect.

Hopefully these ghoulish transformations won’t haunt your nightmares too severely.
