If you have Dionne Warwick on your Spotify Wrapped, she wants to make sure you’re OK

Dionne Warwick is checking up on her fans who have her “sad” songs featured in their personalized Spotify Wrapped story.

The music streaming service released its annual Spotify Wrapped on Wednesday, Nov. 30, allowing users to see their listening trends for the year. Warwick, the iconic singer who rose to fame decades ago, has remained a favorite singer for many fans.

If you’re one of those fans who continue to listen to her “sad” songs, she wants to make sure you’re doing OK.

“If I am on your Spotify Wrapped let me know,” Warwick tweeted Wednesday. “Most of my songs are sad and I am hoping you’re okay. We can talk about it.”

She has responded to several fans who had her or some of her songs at the top of their Spotify Wrapped lists.

“Are you okay?” she asked one fan.

“Go outside and touch nature,” Warwick told another fan, who told her she has cried an “unhealthy” amount to one of her songs. “I love you. Everything will be okay.”

Warwick’s hits began in 1963 and include “Anyone Who Had a Heart,” “I’ll Never Love this Way Again” and “Heartbreaker.”

More than 500 people have commented on Warwick’s post as of Thursday morning.

Some shared their Spotify Wrapped stories featuring Warwick, and others applauded the singer for checking in on her fans.

“This is the purest thing I’ve seen on Twitter...maybe ever,” one Twitter user said. “Thank you, Dionne Warwick.”
