Die Hard 6 Being Planned With A Young John McClane

Yippee-kayay to all – Die Hard 6 is currently being planned by 20th Century Fox, according to reports.

But there’s going to be a bit of a twist.

US movie site The Wrap says that the sixth movie could be heading back to New York City in 1979 to meet up with the young John McClane.

But fear not, Willis fans, Bruce would also star as the grizzled cop in modern times in a story which spans both eras.

All that said, Willis seemingly isn’t signed up for the movie just yet.

Fox is still in discussions over the movie with director Len Wiseman, who helmed the ‘Underworld’ series, the reboot of 'Total Recall’ with Colin Farrell and 'Live Free Or Die Hard’, the 2007 movie in the 'Die Hard’ series.

'Live Free Or Die Hard’ confronted cyber terrorists in 2007, and made $383.5 million, the most money made by a 'Die Hard’ movie, but not accounting for inflation.

But 'A Good Day To Die Hard’, released in 2013, was roundly panned, featuring Willis alongside Jai Courtney, who played John McClane Jr.

That movie made quite a chunk less, but still a not exceptionally shabby $304 million worldwide.

In all, the movies, which have starred the likes of Jeremy Irons, Alan Rickman and Samuel L. Jackson, have made $1.4 billion at the box office.
