Did Lisa Rinna Name Her Latest Lip Kit After Beyoncé?

Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have been introduced to several of Lisa Rinna's alter egos on the show, so it's no surprise she named her latest lip kit after one of them: Sasha!

And while the name might make you think of Beyoncé (aka Sasha Fierce), Rinna says it's just a coincidence. "I didn't even think of that, but I love it," the actress tells InStyle exclusively. "Now that you say it, there's a nice correlation."

On Aug. 25, Rinna Beauty will debut Sasha, the newest addition to their Lip Icon Collection. The burgundy-colored lip kit comes with "Dirty Talk" lipstick, "Shake It" lip gloss and "After Party" lip liner — all perfect for fall. "I'm really having fun starting to wear darker lip colors," Rinna explains. Although she normally gravitates toward nude shades. "This is just one of those gorgeous universal colors for every skin tone."

The former Days of Our Lives star, who will reprise her role as Billie Reed on Peacock's upcoming limited series Beyond Salem, says launching a lipstick line during the COVID pandemic was a labor of love. "We're all wearing masks and so the fact that it's doing as well as it is has warmed my heart. It's just so exciting," she tells us. "I've tried to do this for like 15 years and so the fact that it finally came to fruition is a miracle."

Rinna — who is known for her "Own It" tagline on RHOBH — says through it all, the most important thing has always been authenticity. "It was a long process because I was really, really picky about the formulations. I said if we're gonna do this, we've got to do this the way that I want to do it."

So what's next for Rinna Beauty?

"I would consider everything, head to toe," says the entrepreneur. That could likely include a wig line, since Rinna often creates her alter egos using her personal collection of hairpieces. "So many people have reached out to me," she says, many of whom have gone through cancer treatments or struggled with hair loss. "If I could somehow enter that market and help, I think, why not?"

Another avenue Rinna may want to explore is a nail polish collection. After she revealed that her husband Harry Hamlin gets acrylic nails to play his guitar without a pick, the loose-lipped Housewife says the confession could serve as inspiration for her next project. "He's not mad," she shares. "He is proud of his nails because he likes to play his guitar the way he likes to play his guitar. If I come out with a nail line, I will certainly call a nail color Harry Hamlin's Nails."
