Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich had a whirlwind of a relationship, but according to a recent report, it looks like their three-month engagement is about to come to an end.

According to a Page Six source who is allegedly close to the couple, they’ve been trying to work through some issues. The insider added, “It’s not over yet, but it’s on its way there.” The source didn’t reveal what the issues are, but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if it had anything to do with Max’s alleged old tweets.

Earlier this month, fans accused Max of thirsting after celebs like Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Ariana Grande. At the time, Demi slammed the screenshots and posted, “It’s really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other. If women have conflict, that’s between them, NOT YOU. Secondly, don’t y’all have more important shit to write about in 2020???” Shortly after, reports surfaced about her previously saying she wouldn’t mind eloping with Max.

Obviously, things have changed. Since the Twitter scandal, Demi and Max, who are usually super affectionate on social media, haven’t been Liking each other’s posts. In fact, the last time they posted about each other on their feeds was at the end of August. Plus, her bodyguard and sister unfollowed him. Sooo…if their social media habits are any indication of what’s going on IRL, things aren’t looking so good for their engagement.

Hopefully they’re able to work out whatever is going on or agree to split without any more drama.
