'Definitely haunted': Man's disturbing discovery in 200-year-old farmhouse

A man has compared a doll found in a 200-year-old farmhouse to something from a Stephen King novel.

“Found this behind a drawer in a built-in cabinet the day we moved into our 200-year-old farmhouse,” he wrote, sharing the find on Facebook.

“Currently sealed in a crate and locked in the shed.

“I’ve read enough Stephen King to know that if we threw it out, it would just come back.”

The man found what appears to be some kind of doll or marionette.

Needless to say, he wasn’t alone in being creeped out by the doll.

“Haunted. Definitely haunted,” one woman wrote.

Others called it “next level creepy”.

“Ooo I can hear her tap, tap, tapping away in that crate,” another woman wrote.

Woman's 'creepy' find under Airbnb

People often share creepy or scary things they find in their homes online.

A woman staying at an Airbnb, in what’s believed to be Florida, found a “creepy” underground mall below her accomodation.

"POV: Your Airbnb has an abandoned mall in the basement," she wrote in the caption of a TikTok video, showing clips of the shopping centre's staircase, elevator and a long empty hallway.

The video blew up on TikTok, with more than 1.3 million likes and several people who were spooked by it.

In a later TikTok, Claire explained she did not know the video was going to go viral like it did, and reassured people she and her friends were okay.

"It's kind of creepy, but it's fine," she says in the video.
